Fiery Habanero Sauce gives you all the heat you want plus a little more. True to its name, this Habanero sauce is Fiery and so delicious.

Spicy food goes hand in hand with Indian recipes. Being born in India, I was used to eating spicy food when growing up. Decades of living here in the US have changed my taste buds and I no longer tolerate spice as I used to. We still do eat moderately spicy food and I have trained my boys as well to eat spicy food.

How hot is this Hot Sauce?

This Fiery Habanero Pepper Hot Sauce gives you all the heat you want and a little more. Let me warn you that this sauce is not for faint-hearted people. When I say Fiery Hot, I mean FIERY HOT! The recipe is a no-cook recipe and all it needs is the blending of the ingredients together.

It pairs so well with Mexican Enchiladas and Burritos. My husband drizzled a little on his Mac and Cheese this afternoon and said that it was the best Mac and Cheese he has eaten.

Other Hot Sauces -

At any restaurant we go to, we ask them to make the food spicy and on top of it have a bottle of hot sauce on our table to add on. The commercial hot sauce has such a strong after-flavor to it that I dislike it. I make my spicy chili sauce/paste for Thai and Asian recipes.

When making Italian recipes, my husband’s first request would be to make this spicy Arrabbiata Sauce. I do add quite a bit of red chili flakes to any sauce I make, but that just gives it a raw spicy feeling. This Fiery Habanero Pepper Hot Sauce has a refreshing and at the same time really spicy flavor that sort of feels right for the taste buds.

I am a part of a Facebook group called the Food Blogger Recipe Swap, where we are paired with other food bloggers and get to recreate their recipes. This helps us learn new recipes from bloggers in a different part of the world and also helps us make some friends.

This group has been taken over by my dear friend and fellow blogger Mireille for the past couple of months. This month I am cooking from Deborah’s blog and I chose to make this really flavorful and Fiery Habanero Pepper Hot Sauce.

I pretty much stuck to her recipe and just halved the quantity. This yielded me a good 1 cup of sauce, which I will be storing for quite a while. It just needs a little drizzle to jazz up any food and this one cup of Fiery Habanero Pepper Hot Sauce will go a long way.

Growing Habanero peppers -

We grew a lot of Habanero pepper when back in NY. Not realizing how spicy it would be, the first year we planted about 4 plants, and they yielded a lot more than we expected. We harvested a good 40 to 50 Habanero peppers every 2 weeks, and it was just a shame not knowing how to use them.

I froze quite a bit of them but was not able to use them much at all because it was too hot to use in everyday cooking. My advice to any of you who grow peppers is - Do not grow habanero pepper. It is just easier to buy a couple when we are planning to cook with them.

I was in fact planning to make Habanero jelly once but backed off my plan and used Jalapeno instead to make Jalapeno Jelly . I am so happy that I did not try this jelly with Habanero. don’t think my family would or even myself would have handled the heat. If you haven’t tried making any kind of pepper jelly, then you must give it a try. This jelly tastes good not just with bread but also with dosa, Idli, and Paratha.
